Apartheid Free Communities & OLIVE Collective, one of our AFC signatories, are hosting our 6th AFCafe on July 22nd! In conversation about remembering and rebuilding beyond colonial and capitalist food systems, we are honoured to have Elder Jim Leyden, an Indigenous land defender and knowledge keeper of Anishinaabe and Irish-Italian ancestry, and Izzedin Bukhari, a Jerusalem-based Palestinian chef, storyteller, and founder of Sacred Cuisine.
